DAY 1 | Arrival in Seoul
Welcome to South Korea, where centuries-old palaces stand gracefully alongside futuristic skyscrapers, creating one of Asia’s most fascinating contrasts. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and take some time to relax before the adventure begins.
As evening falls, meet your fellow riders and the Care My Tours expedition team for a comprehensive tour briefing covering the route, riding protocols, and highlights of the week ahead. Collect your motorcycle, familiarise yourself with your machine, and set off on a short orientation ride through Seoul’s illuminated streets. The city’s vibrant nightlife, dazzling skyline, and energetic atmosphere offer the perfect introduction to the Korean Peninsula. Return to the hotel for your first overnight stay, ready for the journey that lies ahead.
DAY 2 | Seoul – Donghae (Approx. 254 km)
The expedition officially begins as you leave the bustling capital behind and head towards the breathtaking landscapes of Gangwon Province. Smooth highways soon give way to sweeping mountain roads that weave through forests and rolling countryside, offering an exhilarating introduction to riding in South Korea.
One of today’s highlights is the spectacular Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch, where endless green pastures and panoramic mountain vistas create a landscape unlike anywhere else in the country. Continuing east, the mountains gradually surrender to the dramatic coastline of the East Sea, revealing endless ocean views and cliffside roads that are every rider’s dream.
Upon arriving in Donghae, visit the tranquil Hapyung Beach before experiencing the dramatic cliffs and glass walkways of Dodjebi Gol Sky Valley. As the sun begins to set over the sea, settle into your hotel and enjoy your first evening along Korea’s stunning eastern coastline.
DAY 3 | Donghae – Gyeongju (Approx. 258 km)
Wake up to the fresh sea breeze before continuing south along one of South Korea’s most rewarding riding routes. Today’s journey combines scenic coastal highways with flowing mountain roads, creating a perfect balance between relaxed cruising and engaging riding.
As you climb into the Taebaek mountain region, visit the fascinating Gumunso Gorge, where centuries of flowing water have sculpted a magnificent limestone landscape. The winding roads that follow are a delight for every motorcyclist, offering continuous curves framed by lush forests and dramatic scenery.
By afternoon, arrive in Gyeongju—the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom and often referred to as “the museum without walls.” Explore the magnificent Bulguksa Temple, one of Korea’s most treasured UNESCO heritage sites, before discovering centuries of history at the Gyeongju National Museum. Spend the evening immersed in the timeless charm of one of Asia’s greatest historic cities.
DAY 4 | Gyeongju – Namhae (Approx. 276 km)
Today’s ride showcases the extraordinary beauty of South Korea’s southern coastline. Leaving Gyeongju behind, the road begins to reveal countless islands, emerald waters, elegant bridges, and spectacular coastal panoramas that make this one of the most scenic days of the expedition.
Ride through the breathtaking Hallyeohaesang National Park, where rugged coastlines and island-studded waters stretch endlessly into the horizon. Stop at the famous Daraengi Village Observatory to admire cascading terraced rice fields that descend gracefully towards the sea, creating one of Korea’s most iconic landscapes.
Continue to the charming German Village, a unique community where European architecture meets Korean coastal beauty. As evening arrives in Namhae, relax beside the sea and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of one of South Korea’s most picturesque island destinations.
DAY 5 | Namhae – Gongju (Approx. 256 km)
Leaving the coast behind, today’s journey ventures deep into South Korea’s mountainous interior, where quiet country roads, dense forests, and picturesque valleys provide a completely different riding experience.
The route leads towards Nogodan, offering spectacular views across one of Korea’s most celebrated mountain ranges. Continuing through scenic countryside, ride beneath the towering canopy of the beautiful Bugwiri Metasequoia Road, where perfectly aligned trees create a magical tunnel that has become a favourite among photographers and riders alike.
Arrive in the historic city of Gongju and visit the impressive Gongsanseong Fortress, an ancient stronghold overlooking the Geum River. Rich in history and beautifully preserved, the fortress offers the perfect conclusion to another unforgettable day on the road.
DAY 6 | Gongju – Seoul (Approx. 219 km)
The final riding day offers a relaxed yet memorable journey back to Seoul. The route winds through peaceful countryside, charming villages, and open roads, allowing riders to reflect on the incredible experiences shared throughout the expedition.
Before entering the capital, stop at Yangpyeong Mannam Square, one of South Korea’s most popular gathering places for motorcyclists. It is the ideal location to celebrate the successful completion of your Korean adventure, exchange stories with fellow riders, and capture a few final photographs together.
Continue into Seoul, where the skyline once again rises on the horizon. Return your motorcycles and bid farewell to the machines that carried you across mountains, coastlines, forests, and centuries of Korean history.
DAY 7 | Departure from Seoul
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
As your flight departs, take with you unforgettable memories of South Korea’s breathtaking coastal highways, sweeping mountain roads, ancient temples, vibrant cities, and warm hospitality.
