 Roads condition is about 60% is tarmac road. About 40% is dirt roads, tackling challenging sections, navigating tight switchbacks, and conquering twisty mountain passes. This adventure promises an adrenaline-fueled journey for motorcycle enthusiasts, pushing the limits of skill and providing an unforgettable ride on the most demanding and rewarding terrains.

Suzuki DR650SE is very reliable and easy to drive bike . Bike will ride with a breeze on the highway and carry you through any off-road. With adjustments, bike will be comfortable for riders with a height of 1.65 cm and above. This bike will be your faithful and reliable friend on this motorcycle trip!

  1. Dushanbe Arrival:

    • Begin your journey with airport transfers to the hotel.
    • Join us for lunch at a national restaurant.
    • Explore Dusty square and the Tajikistan National Museum during a city tour.
    • Meet the support team, get acquainted with motorcycles.
    • Conclude the day with a group dinner before returning to the hotel.

  2. Dushanbe – Iskandar Kol – Dushanbe (260 km):

    • Start your Pamir adventure with waiting motorcycles.
    • Ride on road M34 from Dushanbe to Khujand.
    • Conquer the Anzob pass and the challenging 5-kilometer tunnel.
    • Reach Iskandar Kol, passing through mountain trails to see distant Tajik villages.
    • Return to Dushanbe along the same route. Hotel accommodation.

  3. Dushanbe – Qal’ai Khumb (360 km):

    • Venture to the southern side of Tajikistan, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous province.
    • Follow the Afghan border along the Panj River.
    • Engage in a traditional washing ritual under the Ali mountain waterfall.
    • Reach Qal’ai Khumb village for guesthouse accommodation.

  4. Qal’ai Khumb – Khorog (280 km):

    • Navigate the legendary Pamir highway (M41).
    • Explore Tajikistan kishlaks, greeted by locals with warmth and fruits.
    • Arrive in Khorog town for hotel accommodation.

  5. Khorog Day Off:

    • Enjoy a day off and acclimatization.
    • Explore the town and local bazaar.

  6. Khorog– Bibi Fatima Hot Springs (Yamchun) (180 km):

    • Continue the Pamir highway journey with the Panj River as a companion.
    • Climb Yamchun Fort, reaching 3,200 meters altitude.
    • Capture an amazing view of Afghanistan valley at Wakhan Corridor.
    • Swim in the sacred Bibi Fatima hot spring. Guesthouse accommodation.

  7. Bibi Fatima Hot Springs(Yamchun) – Murgab (260 km):

    • Reach Murgab, the heart of high-mountains in Pamir.
    • Traverse mountain trails, passing Hargush and Nayzatash mountain passes.
    • Witness the Alichur grassed valley with yaks and yurts.
    • Conclude the day at Murgab, the highest kishlak on Pamir. Hotel accommodation.

  8. Murgab – Ak Baital Pass (4655 m) – Murgab (150 km):

    • Start early to ascend the highest mountain pass in ex-USSR and Central Asia—Ak Baital pass at 4,655 meters.
    • Navigate the rugged Pamir mountains and return to Murgab. Hotel accommodation.

  9. Murgab – Khorog (311 km):

    • Return toward Dushanbe using a different section of the Pamir Highway.
    • Ride through mountain passes like Nayzatash and Kok-Tezek.
    • Evening arrival in Khorog. Hotel accommodation.

  10. Khorog – Qal’ai Khumb (280 km):

    • Ride bikes back along the legendary Pamir Highway, navigating challenging sections with a loose surface.
    • Evening arrival in Qal’ai Khumb. Guesthouse accommodation.

  11. Qal’ai Khumb – Dushanbe (360 km):

    • Return to Dushanbe along the same road, discovering new fantastic mountain landscapes at every turn.
