Day 2: Christchurch to Lake Tekapo (270km, 3-4hrs + breaks)

Embark on a scenic journey from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo covering 270km in 3-4 hours, with breaks. Traverse sheep-filled plains and mountain passes towards Mount Cook National Park, discovering quaint villages and craft galleries. At Lake Tekapo, explore the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, hot springs, and enjoy stargazing under vast skies. Overnight at Lake Tekapo.

Day 3: Tekapo to Dunedin (316km, 4 hrs + breaks)

Day 7: Fiordland to Queenstown Region (171km, 3hrs +breaks)
