Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Welcome to Hanoi, the vibrant capital of Vietnam! Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the city at your own pace. Take a relaxing stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi, where you can witness local life and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. You may also explore the Old Quarter, a bustling maze of streets full of shops, street food stalls, and ancient architecture. If time permits, consider visiting cultural landmarks such as the Temple of Literature or the iconic St. Joseph’s Cathedral. The evening is free for you to experience Hanoi’s famous street food scene.

Day 2: Hanoi → Moc Chau
Your adventure officially begins as we depart Hanoi and head to Moc Chau Town in Son La Province. The ride takes us along the scenic Black River, a gift of nature that winds through lush hills and serene landscapes. Along the way, we stop at the beautiful Ba Khan Lake, a peaceful water body surrounded by rolling green hills. The lake’s fresh air and tranquility provide a perfect break to relax and soak in the natural beauty.
Our journey continues as we conquer White Stone Pass, a challenging yet rewarding mountain route offering panoramic views of rugged peaks and winding roads. By late afternoon, we arrive in Moc Chau, a region famous for its vast tea plantations, green meadows, and vibrant flower gardens. The area is home to the Thai ethnic community, whose traditional stilt houses and friendly smiles add to the town’s peaceful charm.

Day 3: Moc Chau → Dien Bien Phu
Today, we ride deeper into history as we make our way to Dien Bien Phu, one of Vietnam’s most significant historical cities. Known for its pivotal role in the Vietnam War, this city was the site where the Vietnamese forces defeated the French colonial army in 1954. On the way, we traverse the legendary Pha Din Pass, one of Vietnam’s most challenging and breathtaking mountain passes. This winding road is surrounded by dramatic landscapes, featuring towering cliffs and deep valleys, making it an unforgettable ride.
Upon arrival in Dien Bien Phu, visit key historical sites such as the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument, the Command Bunker of Colonel de Castries, and the A1 Hill Memorial. These landmarks offer insight into the region’s rich history and the bravery of the Vietnamese forces. Dien Bien Phu’s proximity to the Laos border also brings a unique cultural fusion between Vietnam and its neighbor, visible in the food, people, and local traditions.

Day 4: Dien Bien Phu → Lai Chau
Today’s route takes us further into the unspoiled landscapes of Northern Vietnam as we head toward Lai Chau Province. The ride features high mountain roads, steep hills, and lush valleys dotted with ethnic minority villages. Lai Chau is a land of untamed beauty, where you’ll encounter tranquil rivers, cascading streams, and dense forests.
The province is home to various ethnic groups, including the Hmong, Dao, and Thai people, whose unique customs and vibrant clothing bring color to the natural landscape. Along the way, enjoy the peaceful views of rolling mountains and isolated hamlets, where life continues unchanged for generations. This day’s journey highlights the raw, untouched charm of Northern Vietnam.

Day 5: Lai Chau → Y Ty → Sapa
Our day begins with a thrilling ride over O Quy Ho Pass, one of Vietnam’s “Four Great Passes” and a true challenge for motorcycle enthusiasts. As we ascend, the views become more dramatic, with clouds often enveloping the mountaintops and creating a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere.
Next, we visit Y Ty, a remote village known for its fairytale beauty and year-round mist. The route winds through terraced rice fields, dense forests, and picturesque waterfalls. Y Ty is a hidden gem where time seems to stand still, and the local ethnic groups, including the Ha Nhi people, preserve their traditional way of life.
After exploring Y Ty, we continue to Sapa, a world-famous highland town surrounded by misty mountains and vibrant terraced rice fields. Sapa offers cool mountain air and rich cultural experiences, with bustling markets and colorful villages showcasing the traditions of ethnic groups like the Hmong and Red Dao people.

Day 6: Sapa → Ngoc Chien
Today, we ride through the spectacular Mu Cang Chai region, home to some of the most stunning terraced rice fields in the world. These iconic fields, carved into the mountainsides, create a breathtaking mosaic of greens and golds, especially during the harvest season.
Along the way, we stop for a relaxing dip in natural hot springs, a perfect respite for weary riders. Surrounded by the towering peaks of the Hoang Lien Son Mountains, the hot springs offer both rejuvenation and unmatched scenic beauty. Throughout the ride, the tranquil valleys, golden cornfields, and peaceful ethnic villages make this day an unforgettable experience.

Day 7: Ngoc Chien → Hanoi
On our final riding day, we take on the legendary Khau Pha Pass, one of the most thrilling and challenging mountain passes in Vietnam. Known for its countless sharp curves and hairpin bends, this pass rewards riders with breathtaking views of lush valleys and towering peaks.
As we descend, the route leads us back toward Hanoi, following the course of the Red River. The scenic beauty along the riverbanks and the ever-changing landscapes provide a memorable conclusion to our adventure. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you’ll have time to reflect on this incredible journey through Northern Vietnam.

Day 8: Departure from Hanoi
After enjoying a final breakfast, you will be transferred to Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight. 1. Deposits and Payment Policy
- We require a deposit of 50% of the total upon confirmation of booking tour. The remaining balance will be paid 45 days before departure. Your booking may be considered canceled if the full balance is not received by Care My Tours by that time.
- You can choose the payment method by money transfer or credit card payment with all bank transfer charges/ fees to be paid by you.
- After receiving your payment, we will issue you the final confirmation of the detailed itinerary and services via e-mail.
2. Cancellation and Refunds
- Care My Tours takes no responsibility for any flight delays or scheduled changes at any stage throughout the trip.
- We have the discretion to change the itinerary or delay the tour due to weather, local conditions, politics, or various other reasons with our notification in advance.
- During the tour, should you be found to break any of the rules without the prior exception from the tour leader, we have the discretion to cancel the tour with no refunds applied.
- During the tour, should your bike have minor technical problems, our guide/mechanic will attempt to fix it as quickly as possible. In the event that the bike can not be fixed within the day, we will endeavor to substitute a bike of a similar type to ensure your trip is not interrupted.
- Should you have to cancel the tour due to special reasons, you may transfer your booking to another person. However, you will be liable for your nominee paying their money in full.
